High Sierra Loop Backpack; Ocean Party/Deep Purple
Jack’s Rating: 4.6 out of 5
I just love backpacks for high school that have vibrant color schemes and the High Sierra Loop Backpack in Ocean Party/Deep Purple does not disappoint. The one drawback I see with this backpack is the 600-denier Duralite polyester material. I just prefer the more durable nylon.
This school backpack has a large, multi-compartment design with a dedicated media pocket and a handy headphone port. What student wouldn’t want that in a backpack? You student can attach a lot of extra gear with the large bottom straps and monster hook.
NOTE: The large, easily accessible zipper pouches may be a problem for those who travel on public transportation or other transport where people could easily open and steal contents.
The shoulder straps on this backpack are very good. They are yoke-style, which simply means they are attached at the top to encourage kids to wear the backpack properly, thus avoiding possible back issues. These are VAPEL padded, mesh shoulder straps with a Suspension System for long-wearing comfort, no matter how long the school day may be.
For the money – priced in the medium range – this is a pretty good backpack.
Jack says, “This is a rather small-medium sized backpack that really can’t hold a lot of gear. A good value – not a bad school backpack at all.”

Anisa gives this backpack 5 stars:
“Extremely comfortable. Don’t let the size fool you! The multiple compartments that give you plenty of room. It’s easy to put on/take off especially since I ride the Metro so I’m not breaking my back trying to get it off. It has adjustable straps so you can pretty much tailor it to your frame to make it as comfortable as possible. The back pack also holds up well in rain; amazingly well! I love the color too…”

“Love the fit around my shoulders. This is one of the more comfortable backpacks I’ve used, it had good support on my shoulders and holds fits a surprising amount in the interior. I was able to stuff in clothes, food, a radio, emergency supplies, a first aid kit, 3 bottles of water, and clipped on a flashlight to the front clip.”

“Great product. I love the backpack. Its large capacity and the 3 compartments, makes bit easy to pack my stuff. But I just wish it had a compartment for the tablet or laptop.”
