Backpacks for High School

The Pink and Purple Plaid design on this high school backpack makes it attractive to most folks but beware. While this backpack is less expensive, you really do get what you pay for in this case.

It’s not a horrible backpack but it is rather small compared to other middle school and high school backpacks. The polyester material is a bit thinner than other more expensive backpacks. Yes, it’s stylish and good looking but the main dual book compartment is a rather small 16.5″ x 13″ x 6″ (HxWxD) with an even more confining 8″ x 9″ x 1.5″ (HxWxD) front dual zippered compartment.

Here’s the bottom line on this school backpack: It’s got a low price but it’s thin with small compartments – probably not likely to handle the loads of books kids stuff into their backpacks these days.

Jack’s advice: If you buy this backpack you may save a few bucks in the short run but don’t expect it to last for more than a few weeks under the wear and tear kids put on backpacks these days. If that holds true, you’ll have to buy at least one more during the school semester, maybe even two more. Best to spend your money on a quality backpack for school that is going to last through the whole school year at least.

Customer Reviews from

Anonymous gives this backpack 3 out of 5 stars;

“Purple is my favorite color and I thought this would be a great backpack for school, but it turns out it didn’t even last the school year! If you have heavy textbooks and binders, do not get this backpack; very thin material. I gave it 3 stars because it lasted most of the year but then it started to rip apart.”

Emily Franco gives this backpack 3 out of 5 stars;

“Very thin. I bought for my little sister but I found it to be small and thin. It’s cute but I don’t know how long it will last with all the books a teenager has to put in their backpacks.”

Carol Lundy gives this backpack 1 out of 5 stars;

This Bookbag should be described as a change purse! Way to small for even a kindergartener.I would not recommend this to anyone unless you are looking for a change purse or cd holder.
